The MESYS Shaft Calculation now supports systems of parallel shafts coupled by gears. The shaft calculation is considering a nonlinear bearing stiffness and for gear pairs a data exchange with programs for gear calculations is possible. For example the eAssistant from GWJ Technology GmbH can be used. In one user interface there is an overview over safety factors for gears and bearing life.

Load spectra can be defined on system level, different power flow for load cases is possible. Bearings and gear pairs are calculated with the given load spectrum. The load distribution over the with of gear pairs gives a hint for necessary lead corrections.

Natural frequencies can be calculated on system level including coupling of torsional and bending modes. Mode shafts are animated in 3D for easier identification of modes.
